A Simple, Tracker-Free Website

DiskSifter does not include optional analytics, advertising pixels, personalization storage, or cross-site tracking. Essential hosting or security technologies may depend on the provider serving the website.

What cookies are

Cookies are small pieces of data a website can ask a browser to store. They can support essential sessions, preferences, measurement, or advertising. Similar browser storage technologies include local storage and session storage.

DiskSifter’s implementation

The website application code does not intentionally set first-party cookies and does not use localStorage or sessionStorage. Navigation works without storing a preference, and the contact form uses an ordinary server request rather than a browser session. Hosting-level technologies are addressed separately below.

No advertising or analytics trackers

No external analytics service, advertising tracker, retargeting pixel, social media plugin, or cross-site behavioral profiling technology is included. For that reason, this implementation does not display a cookie consent banner.

Hosting and network technologies

A hosting provider, content-delivery network, security service, or load balancer may use essential technical mechanisms for security, traffic routing, or reliability. These provider-level technologies are separate from optional analytics or advertising tracking. This policy will be updated if the technologies used by the website change.

Future changes

If DiskSifter later adds a feature that requires cookies or browser storage, the purpose and duration should be documented here before deployment, and consent should be requested where legally required. Optional tracking should not be enabled by default without an appropriate review.
