Keyboard and focus
Interactive controls are designed to work without a mouse. Visible high-contrast focus indicators help show the active element, and touch targets are sized for practical use on small screens.
Text and visual presentation
The site uses readable system fonts, scalable text, spacious line height, strong foreground contrast, responsive layouts, and information that does not depend on color alone. Pages are designed to avoid horizontal scrolling at supported viewport widths.
Educational diagrams
Illustrations include nearby titles, explicit example labels, and textual descriptions through accessible image semantics. The surrounding page explains the same concepts so a diagram is not the only source of essential information.
Forms
Form controls have persistent labels, required status, appropriate input types, instructions, and server-side validation. Error and result pages use clear language. The form does not require JavaScript.
Motion and compatibility
Animations are limited to subtle state changes, and the design honors the browser’s reduced-motion preference. The static HTML foundation supports modern browsers and common assistive technologies without requiring a JavaScript application.
Feedback
If you encounter a barrier, please use the Contact page. Describe the page, the problem, and the browser or assistive technology if you are comfortable doing so.
No certification claim
DiskSifter does not claim formal accessibility certification or perfect compatibility with every combination of browser and assistive technology. The site should be reviewed and tested as content and hosting change.
